World Book of Records London

Along with the first wave of Corona, in the second wave also MLA Hon. Nilesh Lanke through the Nilesh Lanke Foundation has donated 1100 beds to Hon. Sharad Chandraji Pawar Saheb built Arogya Mandir Covid Center. The Covid Center became a base for patients in the district and the state. Apart from Maharashtra, some of the patients from other states also got treatment at the Covid Center. Launched in the second wave, the Covid Center was the talk of the country, including the state. The taluka MLA and Nilesh Lanke Pratishthan’s work spread all over the world due to the planning of the Covid Center, arrangement of patients, food arrangements, cultural and religious programs organized to enhance the morale, visits and feedback given by many important dignitaries and people. MLA Nilesh Lanke brought smiles to the faces of thousands of patients and their relatives.

His work was noted by the World Book of Records and his name was included in the World Book of Records, London. Recently, MLA Nilesh Lanke was honored with a certificate in Mumbai.

Lokmat Maharashtra of the Year Award – 2020

In 2020, the country was plagued by corona disease. The whole world was plagued by corona disease. The masses were distressed. The country was suddenly locked down due to a large increase in corona infection. The sudden lockdown has affected people at all levels. The poor, workers, peasants and labour were in large numbers. As Supa, Shirur, Pune and Chakan areas of Parner taluka are industrial areas, a large number of workers from various parts of the state and neighboring states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are working as labour in these industrial areas.

Due to the sudden lockdown, all these workers had gone to their respective villages on foot. There were no vehicles available to go home due to the lockdown. No shops were open for food, water and other necessities. At such times Parner-Nagar taluka MLA Nilesh Lanka took the initiative. He gave a helping hand to the poor, working class and working class people who were stranded due to the lockdown. Food canopies called Anandi Thali were distributed at various places on the Nagar-Pune highway. Slippers and shoes were distributed to many barefoot laborers and children. He arranged ST Corporation buses and private buses to reach the people of the state as well as other people in the state. Distributed free groceries to many poor families. Arranged accommodation for several laborers. Also for patients Hon. Sharad Chandra Pawar set up Covid Center.
